Yes as Irelia i know zed is free match up and a 0 threat whole game, but even so there is many way to counter Zed.
I met some who were really cancer troll going full cdr and spaming all their spell always and uncatchable, but cant say it is often. He is never taken in pro play, at least i never see a game since year where there was a Zed. Plus it is a very skilled champ to my eye, so i dont think good zed are legion Support can use exhaust while your ult is timing, and can easy cc you.
